Image Translate ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using Image Translate you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is strictly necessary to operate the app:

• Images you submit for translation — transmitted to our secure processing server solely to perform the translation. Images are not stored after processing is complete.
• Translation history — stored locally on your device only. We never upload your history to any server.
• Purchase information — handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment details.

How We Use Your Information

• To translate text in the images you submit.
• To verify your subscription status through Apple's systems.
• To display your past translations within the app (on-device only).

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or any other commercial purpose.

Data Storage & Security

• Images sent for translation are processed in memory and deleted immediately after the result is returned.
• Translation history is stored exclusively on your device and never synced to our servers.
• All communication between the app and our server is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

Third-Party Services

Image Translate uses the following third-party services:

• Apple StoreKit — for in-app purchases and subscription management. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• AI processing backend — images are sent to our server which uses a third-party AI model to perform translation. No image is retained after the result is delivered.

Children's Privacy

Image Translate is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through the app, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights

Since we do not store personal data on our servers, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete server-side. Your on-device translation history can be cleared at any time from within the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
