Widget Vault ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy.
This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
By using Widget Vault you agree to the practices described here.

All widget data — configurations, to-do items, clipboard history, and preferences — remain
exclusively on your device.
Information We Access
Widget Vault accesses only what is needed to power the widgets you choose to use:

Location — used solely by the Weather and Sunrise & Sunset widgets
to fetch local conditions. Your location is never stored beyond the current widget refresh,
and is never transmitted to our servers.

Clipboard contents — read by the Clipboard History widget to capture
items you copy. Clipboard data is stored exclusively on your device using iOS/macOS
App Groups and is never uploaded anywhere.

Widget configurations & preferences — stored locally on your device
via iOS/macOS App Groups shared storage. No data leaves your device.

To-do items & calendar preferences — stored in SwiftData on your
device only.

Purchase information — handled entirely by Apple via StoreKit 2.
We do not receive, process, or store any payment details.
How We Use This Information
- To display accurate weather conditions and sunrise/sunset times for your location.
- To populate your Clipboard History widget with recently copied items.
- To remember your widget customisations across app launches.
- To verify your subscription status through Apple's systems.
We do not sell, rent, share, or monetise any of your data.
We have no analytics SDK, no advertising framework, and no third-party data collection.
Data Storage & Security
- All widget data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure App Groups container.
- Location lookups for weather are performed on-device or via Apple's WeatherKit — no custom server receives your coordinates.
- Clipboard History is stored only in the App Groups container on your device and is cleared when you delete the app.
- Widget Vault has no backend server and makes no network requests beyond Apple's first-party frameworks (WeatherKit, StoreKit).
Third-Party Services
Widget Vault uses the following Apple-provided frameworks only:
No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising frameworks are included.
Permissions

Location (When In Use) — requested only if you use the Weather or
Sunrise & Sunset widgets. You can deny this permission; those widgets will display
placeholder data instead.

Clipboard access (iOS/macOS) — requested only if you use the Clipboard
History widget. You can deny this; the widget will not capture any clipboard items.
Children's Privacy
Widget Vault is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children
under 13. Since we collect no personal data whatsoever, there is nothing to store
or delete. If you have concerns, please contact us at the address below.
Your Rights
Because Widget Vault stores no personal data on any server, there is nothing to access,
correct, or delete remotely. All your data lives on your device:
- Clear widget configurations from within each widget's settings screen.
- Clear Clipboard History from the Clipboard History settings screen.
- Remove all data permanently by deleting the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this
page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance
of the revised policy.
